About Us

The La Verne Land Conservancy (LVLC) is a 501 (c)(3) public non-profit organization that is working to protect the remaining foothill open spaces above La Verne to support the health of our watershed and to ensure future access to and enjoyment of the foothills and the adjacent Angeles National Forest.

The foothills above La Verne provide wildlife with a habitat corridor that connects the open space areas in our community with habitat corridors in adjoining cities. These corridors are not only vital to the health of our wildlife but to the health of our residents. Enjoying these wonderful natural areas provides enthusiasts with a vast array of outdoor experiences coupled with a sense of well-being.

The foothill areas are also a key component of the watershed that provides La Verne with much of its drinking water. Maintaining the health of this watershed through controlled development is critical.
